2D ANIMATION

Before anything else, a HUGE thank you to our 2D helpers. This project would have been impossible without them.

We initially planned for Carman to do the 2D animation for this film, just to be consistent with the overall art style. But after the first attempt at animating a fish, we quickly knew this wasn't going to be easy and that we will need help.

We put out a call for 2D help and our first helper, Alex reached out and joined our team. He was in charge of animating the goldfish and whale.

While Alex was doing a great job, it was still a lot of work, so a classmate offered to help us look for anyone available to help and we found Christy. She worked on the waterfall shot, as well as coral animations.

Finally, our last helper Soph! joined the last few weeks before submission and she took over the Jellyfish and some extra fish animation.
